Primary responsibilities include providing research expertise in planning and execution of ongoing research projects, reporting to appropriate principal investigators of each project. Candidate will perform experiments in molecular cardiology, including data analysis. They will be responsible for the design and implementation of experiments along with development of new experimental protocols. The candidate will serve as an expert resource to lab members and provide instruction and supervision to undergraduate and graduate students and technicians in research design and methodology. Salary will be dependent upon qualifications.
Required Qualifications: Advanced degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology or related field with substantial research experience in one or more of following areas: cardiac gene transfer, transgenesis, cardiac stem cells, cardiac contractility, cardiac Ca2+ handling. Strong publication record.
