The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine's Section of Cardiology in the Biological Sciences Division is searching for a Research Assistant Professor, whose primary activity will be academic research in association with a faculty member or team. The successful applicant will best contribute to a research project on elucidating the etiology of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The appointee may also apply for independent funding. Applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent, completed postdoctoral training prior to the start of employment, and expertise in cardiovascular research using animal models. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in cellular immunology, multicolor flow cytometry, mouse models of cardiovascular diseases, human translational studies, peer-reviewed publications in relevant areas, and preparing grant applications.
